THE SHORT VERSION

No change-of-mind refunds on subscriptions or credit purchases. Verified technical and billing problems are reviewed for an appropriate remedy. Failed-job credit restorations are separate from payment refunds. Mandatory consumer rights always apply.

This overview helps you navigate the policy. The full sections below apply.

01Digital purchases are generally final

FORCALABS sells access to digital creation tools through subscriptions and credit purchases. This policy applies to initial subscriptions, renewals, fixed credit packs, and custom credit packs.

We do not offer change-of-mind refunds, including where credits remain unused. Credits consumed by a generation or other metered action are not refundable simply because you change your mind, no longer need the Service, or prefer a different creative result.

This rule is subject to the technical and billing exceptions below, the applicable payment-provider rules, and your mandatory legal rights. Using credits does not remove a right to a remedy for a genuine defect, unauthorised charge, or other problem covered by law.

02Technical and billing exceptions

Contact us if you experience a verifiable issue such as:

  • A duplicate charge or a charge for an incorrect amount.
  • A successful payment that does not provide the purchased credits or access, after reasonable payment processing and investigation.
  • A material technical defect in FORCALABS that prevents use of the paid functionality and cannot be resolved within a reasonable period.
  • A purchase for which applicable law or the merchant of record requires a refund.

We will review the relevant payment and usage records. The appropriate remedy may be restoring access, correcting credits, fixing the defect, or providing a full or proportionate payment refund. Where the law gives you a particular remedy or choice, that takes priority.

Ordinary variation in AI output, a queue delay within the disclosed service conditions, or your own publishing decision is not by itself a technical defect. This does not exclude a claim that the Service materially fails to match what was purchased or advertised.

03Failed jobs and credit restoration

Generation may reserve credits while a job is running. Unused reserved credits and eligible charges for a terminally failed job are returned to the in-app balance. A pending or retrying job may still hold its reservation until it settles.

A credit restoration is different from a cash refund. It lets you use those credits again; it does not reverse the purchase or cancel a subscription. If a failed job leaves an incorrect credit charge, send the job or carousel reference to support so we can investigate.

04Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel renewal in the Subscription section of your account or through the applicable billing portal. A confirmed cancellation normally takes effect at the end of your paid billing period. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid the next recurring charge.

Cancellation does not automatically refund the current period, turn remaining credits into cash, or delete your account. A refund request does not itself cancel renewal. Manage your subscription separately while we review a request, if you do not want it to renew.

05How to request a review

Use Contact → Refund or billing issue. Tell us:

  1. The email address on your FORCALABS account and your receipt or order reference.
  2. The date and amount of the payment, and a clear description of what went wrong.
  3. Relevant carousel or job references and any useful, redacted screenshots.

Please report the issue promptly so we can investigate. No voluntary reporting preference shortens a statutory deadline. Never send a full card number, password, verification code, or access token. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify the purchase and issue, and will explain the outcome.

If your payment was processed by Polar, you can also use the contact information on your receipt or contact Polar buyer support. This is a separate payment-support route, not FORCALABS’s product-support inbox.

06How approved refunds are processed

Approved payment refunds are processed through the merchant of record, normally to the original payment method. Timing depends on the provider, bank, payment method, and any applicable legal deadline. We do not promise that a credit restoration means a payment refund has been issued.

The credits or access associated with a refunded amount will be reversed or adjusted. The same loss will not be reimbursed twice. Polar may make refund or dispute decisions under its Buyer Terms, payment-network rules, and applicable law.

07Your mandatory rights come first

Nothing in this policy excludes rights relating to defective or misdescribed digital content or services, unauthorised payments, or other non-excludable consumer protections.

Some consumers have statutory withdrawal or cooling-off rights. Immediate access to digital content affects those rights only where the legally required conditions, including any express consent and acknowledgement, have actually been met. Accepting these terms or using a credit alone is not treated as a universal waiver. The rules for an ongoing digital service may differ from those for a completed digital-content supply.

Where those rights apply, you may exercise them through the contact routes above without proving a technical error. This policy applies together with the Terms of Service and does not prevent a complaint to a competent regulator, court, or payment provider.
